Alison is a consulting editor, writer, and researcher with several years in the field. She works with publishers, authors, embassies, small businesses, academics, non-profits and more. Before becoming a freelancer, Alison gained experience in the worlds of teaching, academia, and international development. She has also lived and worked all over the globe including in Malawi, Kuwait, South Korea, and Ghana, and most recently lived in Kathmandu, Nepal for 10 years. She is now based in western Canada and when not editing can usually be found reading, hiking, or enjoying “mom” life. She loves working with authors and reading and editing manuscripts of all types.
