About the Book
The life you’re looking for isn’t lost. It is waiting to be rediscovered.
You have almost certainly felt it. The moments when effort dissolves, time disappears, and you are simply, completely there. These are the essential qualities of a state called flow. And it is your most underused superpower.
Regularly experiencing flow doesn’t just feel good in the moment, it quietly reshapes your relationship with your own life. As you work through these pages, you will discover that for yourself. The transformation is not something you are told, it is something you live. It builds a deeper sense of who you are, providing a steady sense that your life is genuinely well lived.
Drawing on decades of experience across music, engineering, and innovation, Paul Jeremaes reveals that flow is not the exclusive domain of elite performers or master artists. It is also found in the ordinary experiences that make up our lives. Flow is not a rare gift bestowed upon a fortunate few. It is a fundamental human capacity, available whenever attention, engagement, and purpose come together.
Living Life with Flow is a practical and deeply personal guide. It is about learning to live fully and freely, with a quiet sense that your life is well lived.
In a world that constantly encourages us to rush, Paul Jeremaes offers us a beautiful invitation to slow down, become fully present, and rediscover the extraordinary within the ordinary. This book reminds us that fulfilment isn’t something we find one day—it is something we create through the way we choose to experience each moment. A thoughtful, inspiring read that will gently transform the way you live your life.
I often reflect on whether I am living in the flow of life, but it has always been in the sense of the overall big picture, rather than in the daily details. In his book “Living Life With Flow,” Paul Jeremaes dissects the idea of ‘flow’ into the tiny segments of our daily lives. It was illuminating to read his thoughts, observations, and research pertaining to flow in our daily experiences. His examples and insights are totally relatable and he offers many insightful questions to help the reader examine their own lives more carefully and find ways to implement flow on a more regular basis, thus leading to a more fulfilling life. The book is very well thought out and organized, and focuses on our total well-being – not only the physical activities we do in our life, but how we approach them, our mental state, and emotional well-being. For anyone looking for simple, practical ways to bring more flow into their life at every level, this is the book for you! I loved it!
Do you remember the feeling of Christmas Eve as a child? That particular quality of aliveness – the heightened awareness, the full presence, the sense that this particular moment mattered completely. We rarely feel that way in ordinary life, yet this book makes a compelling case that we can. Living Life with Flow shows us how, by learning to bring genuine attention and conscious intention to our experience, we can access something close to that quality of presence far more often than we think. Not excitement for its own sake, but something deeper: a settled, lasting contentment that comes from truly inhabiting our own lives.
